Join a half-day
photo class at the Bronx Zoo designed
especially for young photographers who
have developed a heightened interest in
cameras and who enjoy photographing
animals and people. We'll visit a number
of spots in the 265 acre park, both
indoors and outdoors, where we can
practice using various camera settings
and learn how photographers try to
achieve the best picture composition
possible in a given situation.
Though the animals remain separated in
their habitats from humans, the zoo
affords visiting photographers of all
ages a close-up and authentic look at
animal life in their natural
surroundings.
The Bronx
Zoo photo workshop is
appropriate for ages 11-15. Parents do
not accompany the group and are
responsible for bringing and picking up
their children at the specified times
and designated
park entrance location. The workshops
includes admission to the zoo.
